A walk in the park...

My first outdoor shooting at a nearby park... Trying out taking pictures using tripod while changing the apperture size and exposure time... I forgot to bring along my ND filter, otherwise i could take longer exposure time for the water fountain for the feathery effects...

Rains from heaven...

With the help frm CC, i managed to change to a full frame camera (5DMii), coupled with EF 24-70mm f2.8L..

It was a rainy day and I couln't resist myself to try out the big apperture to capture the raindrops in front of my house...

1st macro attempt!!

My first macro shooting attempt.... Not very sharp images indeed..

Hmmm, maybe my next investment should be the tripod...

EF 50mm f1.8 II

I've bought the entry level EF50mm f1.8 II (that's the only budget i had for now) to experience the 1.8 aperture. The background bokeh stunts me... felt like a pro for a moment, hehe... but still need to learnt a lot regarding subject composure, exposure..etc etc...

P/S : the upper picture shows EF 50mm f1.8 II box with my Sigma 18-200mm OC DC 3.5-6.5 lens.

Dream lens: EF70-200mm f2.8L IS

I've been introduced to the legendary EF70-200mm f2.8L IS by a friend (Dr Zool). Fast AF with persistent reproducible good bokeh.... in addition to the image stabilizer, really made it as one of my top on the list lens.. Now i know what f2.8 + 200mm zoom capable of.... With the pricetag of RM8K,.. maybe i'll get it in my dreams... sigh...

Beach outing

My second outdoor outing using similiar camera setup, all taken in auto mode. Hands started to feel itchy to try AV and TV mode by this time... Overall, lovely shiny day with lots of people. Maybe next time will revisit during sunset with tripod and new filter... hehehe.... Had to thanks my wife for her perseverance... Thanks honey..

First outdoor photo session...

Pictures taken with my first DSLR camera, EOS 550D attached with Sigma 18-200mm OC DC lens..using standard UV filter... Many more need to be learnt... :)
